The committees include The General Assembly, which tackles the issues affecting all developing and highly developed nations; The Economic and Social Council and Regional Bodies, which cover concerns on development, human rights, culture, economics, and trade; and The Specialized Agencies, which simulate scenarios on crisis elements.
For the past years, the annual convention has gathered over 2,000 university students from over 110 countries in different locations across the globe. Participants hail from locations such as Singapore, Puebla in Mexico, Geneva in Switzerland, Beijing in China, Belo Horizonte in Brazil, Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt, Taipei in Taiwan, The Hague in Netherlands and Panama City in Panama.
The event is launched in coordination with the Comité Interuniversitaire des Nations Unies de Paris (CINUP) (Interuniversity Committee of the UN in Paris). WorldMUN 2023 will be held at the Dauphine University and Instituto Superior de Gestión (ISG) International Business School from March 12 to 16, 2023.
