Rizza Vanessa Navarro, who graduated summa cum laude from Benilde’s BS-HRIM program with a major in Culinary Arts, credits her success to hands-on experiences in state-of-the-art kitchen facilities, participation in competitions, and support from her professors and family.
In preparation for the 393rd AUN-QA Programme Assessment from June 18-20, 2024, Benilde’s Bachelor in Applied Deaf Studies (BAPDST) program showcased its commitment to educational accessibility and inclusion through detailed presentations and discussions on Deaf awareness, effective communication methods, and the importance of interpreters, highlighting its dedication to improving inclusive education.

On July 23, 2024, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde and Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a five-year partnership focusing on student and staff exchanges, collaborative research, joint seminars, and other academic collaborations.

The new Vatel Restaurant, situated on the Ground Floor of The Atrium@Benilde Campus, was officially blessed on June 27, 2024. The event was attended by key administrators including Brother President Br. Edmundo Fernandez FSC, Vice Chancellor for Academics Mr. Angelo Lacson, and SHRIM Dean Ms. Marie Castro as well as other Benildean Associates. Vatel Restaurant is set to open to the public in 2025.
Benilde Center for Social Action (CSA) posted on their Facebook page that as of August 1 that the Benildean Operation Sagip (BOS) has distributed 3,051 relief packs, engaged 21 barangay partners and 25 institutional partners, and involved 65 volunteers in the BOS: Bagyong Carina Relief Drive.
In an effort to strengthen the relief and donation drive of the College, the Benildean Operation Sagip (BOS) was launched by the Office of the Vice President for Lasallian Mission and Student Life (formerly known as OVCLMSL) in 2013 and is currently managed by CSA. BOS started as a donation drive to provide relief for communities affected by the torrential downpour of Habagat and Typhoon Yolanda. Since its launch, BOS has been active in organizing support initiatives and engaging various organizations within and outside the College.
BOS is accepting cash donations via GCash. Donors are requested to kindly email a copy of their proof of donation to social.action@benilde.edu.ph to ensure proper tracking and acknowledgment.
