The MOA signing ceremony, held on June 3, 2024, was attended by key administrators from Benilde, De La Salle Araneta University, De La Salle Santiago Zobel, La Salle College Antipolo, and La Salle Green Hills.

Key components of the agreement include a standardized application process under the Green Lane framework, which aims to reduce administrative barriers and provide clarity for prospective students applying to Benilde.

One of the notable benefits outlined in the MOA is the exemption from the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) for students who meet the required High School Grade Point Average (HSGPA) for board and non-board programs. Applicants who will pursue scholarship, however, will be required to take the BEE to determine eligibility for a grant. Additionally, there is a provision for potential credit transfer of Senior High School subjects from partner schools to their equivalent courses in Benilde’s undergraduate programs, potentially replacing certain institutional courses with seminar equivalents.

Furthermore, the partnership promises enhanced coordination between Benilde and DLSP schools in organizing school fairs and career talks, facilitated by Benilde’s Marketing Center. This collaboration also aims to provide students with comprehensive guidance throughout the application process, ensuring they receive the necessary support and information.

The Green Lane MOA signifies a proactive approach by Benilde and DLSP schools to enhance accessibility and efficiency in higher education admissions, showing their commitment to supporting student success and academic excellence. As this collaboration formally commences, both institutions are poised to build on these foundations, further strengthening educational pathways for future generations of students.

The Green Lane application started in September 2023 to provide DLSP with a customized experience in their application to Benilde. Alongside Green Lane, Benilde also offers Express Lane for the College’s own Senior High School students transitioning to College.
