Guidelines for Applying for SDEAS Grant

  1. In DLS-CSB, the scholarship application is separate from the admission application. Those interested to apply for scholarship must have an admission application and have been accepted into a degree program.
  2. Application for a scholarship or grant is open only to incoming first year College student applicants for the 1st Term, AY 2025-2026. Transferee and second degree undergraduate student applicants are not qualified for scholarship. The SDEAS Grant (for Deaf applicants only) allows incoming first-year college students and transfer students to apply for scholarships.
  3. Scholarship applicants must be a Filipino citizen; those with dual citizenship must present an order of recognition, PSA Birth Certificate, and valid Philippine passport.
  4. An applicant can only choose and apply to one type of scholarship in DLS-CSB.
  5. The scholarship and grant applications will be evaluated based on the following: available Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) results or its equivalent as approved by the Scholarship Committee, review of previous grades, interviews/audition prescribed by the degree programs, and the submission of other scholarship application requirements.
  6. Scholarship or Grant application may lead to scholarship disqualification based on the following conditions: incomplete submissions of requirements, submission beyond the scholarship application deadline, falsification or withholding of scholarship-related information, or application to more than one DLS-CSB scholarship type.
  7. All scholarship types are highly competitive and with limited slots only.
